We’re currently only matching families with regular childcare, not occasional “date night” babysitters. Once the COVID-19 situation becomes less of a threat to your safety, we will once again be accepting babysitter applications. Please head to our Nanny application page instead.

We’re committed to helping you find flexible work at competitive rates. We believe your work with children is highly valuable, and we’re committed to helping you succeed!

Our Superstar Sitters get access to our exclusive network of NYC’s Best Families! We talk to every family via video chat and do a deep dive into their lifestyle so we can team you up with a great match. We will curate matches with specific families, and they’ll have the option to book you whenever you’re available. In addition to your regular families, you’ll have opportunities to work for all the families in our network!!

We won’t send you to a family that pays less than $20 an hour for babysitting (and we don’t take a percentage of what you make!)

We will provide ongoing training and certifications to help you up-level your skills and make yourself an even more sought after sitter!

    Superstar Sitter Minimum Requirements:

    • 3+ years paid work with children (this can include babysitting, work as a camp counselor, teacher or similar)
    • Proof of CPR Certification (must be no more than 2 years old)
    • Superior communication skills
    • Total reliability (Early is on time and on time is late)
    • A genuine interest in kids
    • Willingness to be hands-on with kids
    • Communicative and proficient with the necessary technology
    • Willingness to submit to an extensive background check and social media check
    • Confidence in ability to escort children to activities throughout NYC
    • Comfortable making basic, kid-friendly meals
    • Have ideas for how to engage children at an age-appropriate level (ie, doing more than plopping them in front of a screen)

    Interviewing Process:

Our interview process is comprehensive. The main goal is to really get to know you and make sure we understand what you’re looking for, your approach to childcare and who you are when you’re not spending time with kiddos.

Here's what the process looks like:

    1) Complete the nanny application form (put your typical availability, it's okay if it changes).

2 ) Applicants will have a quick 15-minute phone screen interview so we can learn more about you and what you’re looking for.

    3) Qualified applicants will be emailed a link to the International Nanny Association’s Skills Assessment test, which takes 30 mins or less to finish. To move on to the next round of the application process, you must score at least 70% on this test. If you need a reasonable accommodation for a disability or need the material in a language other than English, please contact us.

    4) Final round applicants will be interviewed in-person. During this interview, we’ll get to know you better, learn more about the types of families you want to work with, your typical availability and answer any questions you have about the job search process.

    5) Once the interview process is complete, we’ll contact your references and run a background check.

Once your interview and background checks are complete we'll add you to our Dream Nanny roster and work to match you with families we know you're a great fit for!

Ready to be a part of our Dream Team!?
