Who We Are
Dream Nanny LLC was founded by Ashley Clay after years of families telling her she needed to create a childcare agency. Ashley started her first babysitting business at the age of eleven, complete with business cards and an ad in the local newspaper. Beginning in 2006, Ashley has worked throughout Manhattan as a babysitter, part-time nanny, and full-charge nanny and family assistant. She’s worked with families with private jets and families who all sleep in the same bed and everything in between.
She’s the nanny that families brag about and go to when they need recommendations.
After hearing about the struggles of some of her favorite families to find reliable, hands-on childcare in her wake, Ashley decided to create the agency she wished existed. That’s when Dream Nanny & Superstar Sitters was born.
With this agency, Ashley brings her unique background in childcare, politics, and personal coaching under one roof. Our focus is on developing happy children by supporting the adults in their lives to have healthy, professional, and equitable relationships.
Built into the fabric of Dream Nanny is our commitment to corporate giving. From day one, 10% of our quarterly gross profits are donated to organizations working with children, families, and childcare providers. Creating a better world starts at home and flourishes through our work.
